Remodeling Carpenter

Job Description

Heartwood Residential is a full-service remodeling company looking for an outstanding carpenter/craftsman with extensive residential remodeling experience to join our team. Our position combines extensive client interaction, completing small repairs and home improvements, and being detailed and thorough with documentation.


You are first and foremost a craftsperson with exceptional skills in carpentry from framing to finish work, plumbing to electrical, drywall and stucco repairs.

Your client communication is exceptional.

You have experience and aptitude working in a customer-oriented environment

You are innovative and experienced with remodeling tasks and home repairs. You can make decisions quickly and intelligently with the client's needs in mind.

You understand that remodeling is a business and recognize that keeping a balance between quality craftsmanship, production efficiency, and the client's budget is important

You must be a self-starter, extremely reliable and dependable with excellent judgment and be able to pass security/background check.

Job and experience requirements are:

At least 5-10 years' experience in residential remodeling

HS diploma or GED

Excellent customer communication, math, and reasoning skills

Ability to use smart phone and tablet computer

Ability to work independently and as part of team

Ability to use and operate all basic carpentry hand and power tools, lift and carry loads, and ability and license to operate a company vehicle. This includes a broad range of skills rooted in carpentry with the ability to do basic repairs or installations in other trades

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
