We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent for our construction projects.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a strong background in commercial construction and tenant improvement projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing all phases of a construction project including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Allocate resources for assigned projects Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately Manage the day-to-day work of the construction project Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs Ensure all safety guidelines are followed strictly and maintain a safe work environment for all team members Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure project is constructed according to design plans
Qualifications:
Proven working experience as a Construction Superintendent for a minimum of 3 years Proficient in Procore, Commercial T.

, and Commercial Tenant Improvement projects Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards Understanding of all facets of the construction process Familiarity with construction management software packages Ability to plan and see the big picture Competent in conflict and crisis management Excellent time and project management skills Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents Understanding of the current regulations within the field Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good physical condition and stamina Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
