The Technology Development team works directly for the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Imperative Care family of companies.
Our work centers around the generation of available technology for Peripheral and Neurovascular disease states.
We develop inventions that feed the company pipeline and drive the direction of the standard of care in the industry.

Participate in the design, development and prototyping of new concepts, devices and test procedures Design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments to evaluate feasibility of conceptsSolve technical issues by troubleshooting, analyzing data, determining root cause and proposing alternative solutionsWhat You'll Bring We are looking for curious, inventive, and hands-on humans wanting to join us for a summer opportunity working in Technology Development (Pre-R&D).
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who enjoys tinkering and wants to learn how to develop ideas through back of a napkin to commercial launch phases.
Minimum of 2 years of college-level coursework in an engineering discipline (Mechanical focused engineering majors (preferred)Theoretical Design tools including technical drawings, CAD modelling (Solidworks preferred), FEA (ANSYS preferred) and strong technical communicationPhysical prototyping skills including machine shop & hand tools, and 3D printers.
Electromechanical programming tools (microcontrollers/motion control systems) are nice to have but not requiredCritical thinking - ability to develop challenging test sequences and procedures to characterize materials and prototypesWhat You'll GainImperative Care provides an opportunity for students to work in the dynamic medical device industry and gain valuable hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment, instruments, and facilities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
