What You'll Do Lead a team of operators on a production line.
Plan and schedule work, resolve production issues and communicate or escalate matters to a supervisor when necessary.
Oversee floor operations, monitoring performance, verifying quality of product output and tracking key performance metrics.
Ensure the team is properly trained to produce goals while ensuring product meets delivery schedules and quality standards.
Provide guidance and direction to a team in the Control Environment Room (CER), influencing their actions.
Motivate team to meet production goals/metrics while maintaining quality standards Address team's questions, troubleshoot concerns and challenges and effectively fill in for the supervisor when unavailable Work with Engineers to develop new processes, provide feedback for the creation of new documentation, and train others to these documents (as needed).
Co-champion (with the Supervisor) the 6S principles and goals Facilitate implementation of process improvement (Kaizen) and Lean manufacturing activities Help to ensure that the team is consistently maintaining accurate records Analyze production metrics to identify improvements for inefficiencies and maximize production output while ensuring high product quality What You'll Bring HS diploma and 6
years of related experience in the medical device industry, including 4 years of direct manufacturing experience.
Prior experience in Catheter assembly processing (including sub-assembly processes) is a plus Knowledge of and exposure to product manufacturing, testing, and data collection.
Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP procedures and requirements.
